Biography
It may seem at first that Rajko is difficult to categorise - athlete or artist? Perhaps the simplest answer is...he's both.
Having studied Physical Education & Sport Science at Europe's leading sports institute, Loughborough University, Rajko also played intercollegiate volleyball, basketball and soccer. He then went on to pioneer his father's unique training method, Fitness4x4®, and the associated workout class The Hour of Power®, training hundreds of individuals in 3 continents and setting two world records in upper-body endurance along the way. With a resting heart rate of 35bpm, there is no doubt Rajko is an impressive athlete.
But ask Rajko what his real talent is and he will say 'music...songwriting!' Having discovered music in his late teens, Rajko has spent the last decade writing heartfelt and compelling music and entertaining all he meets with his creative and spontaneous performances. On his adventures in Last One Standing Rajko took a guitar to all 12tribes, often teaching a local villager to play, then leaving behind the guitar on his departure. Having headlined at some of London's top acoustic venues, Rajko is a seasoned performer and goes nowhere without his guitar. He is about to release his first independently produced Album and will be touring to promote this album at venues in the UK and USA later this year and early 2008.
Last One Standing gave Rajko an opportunity not only to test the merits of his father's Fitness4x4 training method, but also a chance to experience the music of the world and gain inspiration for his own songwriting. "Places like Zululand where the voices of the warriors were the most stirring thing I've ever heard, and Papua New Guinea where the local bamboo band was just pure positive energy...these things opened up my mind."
